Never Been Bird Watching Before?

  • Be sure to bring along a pair of binoculars to be able to see the fine details that distinguish the types of birds in their species. This will make documenting your sightings easier
  • Document your sightings in a journal or book so that you can cross off the different types of species that you have seen. This is very popular amongst bird watchers to make sure they get to cross off all the special species of birds they have seen.
  • Be patient and enjoy the peace of nature. Bird watching takes time so relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity around you.
  • Watch for the perfect photographic moments so that you can snap a picture-perfect memory of your bird watching experience. And if you did not get that photo you were looking for you are welcome to return to the park for another visit.

When you arrive at the park be sure to ask one of our rangers to point you in the direction of the most popular bird-watching spots so that you do not miss out on a second of the action.
