Monkey Walk

Stopped by the Bush Café for lunch?

Be sure not to miss the magic of the Monkey Walk at Kragga Kamma Game Park.

Accessible via the suspension bridge (8 adults or 1 elephant at a time please) just passed the Bush Café and you can experience the pristine indigenous forest for yourself while walking along the raised circular walkway.

Along the 400-meter treetop boardwalk, you can expect to see vervet monkeys as well as other species of forest dwellers. With over 200 species of birdlife to view, this is also a perfect opportunity for birdwatching including the Knysna Loerie.

If you are lucky you may also spot some cheetah resting or sleeping below the walkway as you make your way around the area.

Find out more about birdwatching here.

Other animal residents include the bushbuck, nyala and even the shy and elusive blue duiker. Be sure to snap some photos of the animals as you spot them so that you have something to show for your visit to the park.

Enjoy nature in its natural setting while surrounded by the cool cover of the canopy of trees – a truly magical experience only available to those that visit Kragga Kamma Game Park.
